The Kyojin II is perfect for when you need back bone and stopping power. This tenkara rod can is excellent for surf casting and chasing big, beefy fish. Its a great carp or bass tenkara fly rod too. The Kyojin II is stronger and lighter than the original Kyojin but still has the same taper and extra-long spey handle, or our original Kyojin Spey Tenkara Rod. This gives you leverage to manage monsters. Carp, shark, redfish, bass, mid-sized permit, trevalley on a fixed-line tenkara fly rod! Now this is fun. Pairs best with an 8wt-10wt fly fishing line.
